The official PantheaCon hotel is Doubletree Hotel . The Double Tree has large, beautiful guest rooms and we have reserved all available rooms, even more than last year. The address is 2050 Gateway Place, San Jose CA 95110. 408-453-4000.
The conference rate for all rooms is $92 for single to quad. It was basically sold out on October 3. A few more rooms may be available. The rate of $92 should be good for all nights, including Sunday. Phone or email us if you run into problems. Also let the hotel know if you need a Rollaway bed, a Mini-Frig or other aids.
We have contracts with some of the Overflow Hotels. Mention PantheaCon with them to get the PantheaCon rate. Taxi cabs from them may only be around $5 for a trip to the DoubleTree.
Our main Overflow Hotel is the Holiday Inn San Jose (Formerly Hyatt San Jose) at 1740 North First Street, San Jose, CA 95112 (408) 793-3300 We have a block of 75 rooms with them which we can incease when needed. It is just a 10 minute walk from the Doubletree. They have free parking and two restaurants. Please mention PantheaCon when booking. The rate at the Holiday Inn is $79 a night for Friday, Saturday and also Sunday. (The block will be open Oct. 8.)
